2026 – MAZE ART ST. MORITZ
The Swiss Alp fair season kept on in St Moritz where we continued to celebrate winter with a curation of both Winter Landscape and modern works. The legacy of Pieter Bruegel the Elder, who pioneered the depiction of winter as a standalone subject following the severe winter of 1564, remained central to our presentation. The works on display honored this tradition by capturing the quiet joy of snowy scenes through balanced compositions and intimate settings. Rather than relying on explicit narratives, these paintings invite closer inspection to reveal hidden anecdotes, showcasing a mastery of light and a subtle unity of color found within the many nuances of white.
