2026 – BRAFA
2026 began with BRAFA in Brussels, the city where our gallery first opened its doors 50 years ago. We kicked off the year with a remarkable selection of Flemish paintings, headlined by the Sermon of Saint John the Baptist by Pieter Brueghel the Younger.
This impressive work is a standout for the son of Pieter Bruegel the Elder, an artist who typically worked in smaller formats; it was truly impossible to miss on our booth. Continuing the family legacy, the Allegory of Sight from the workshop of Jan Brueghel the Younger was another significant piece, notable both for its large format and its fascinating depiction of a cabinet of curiosities.
