Fine Arts Paris
7- 12 November 2017
The Salon, New York
9-13 November 2017
Join us in November for two wonderful events:
The first, a selection of old master paintings presented at the Palais de la Bourse for the first ever Fine Arts Paris fair. At this intimist salon dedicated to the fine arts, visitors will find exhibited among works by Brueghel and the old masters of the northern schools, a diptych of notables from Cologne by Bartholomeus Bruyn the Elder. Faithful to these models, it symbolises the pictorial tradition in Cologne in the first half of the 16th century by a contemporary of Lucas Cranach.
The destination of the second rendez vous is The Salon in New York. Located in the Park Avenue Armory, this venue is host to a range of galleries that champion modern art through design, the fine arts and decorative arts. We shall be exhibiting a selection of paintings and sculptures there, including Lucio Fontana’s Concetto Spaziale. Featuring both perforations and pencilled lines, this major work from 1958 marks the artist’s adherence to Spatialism.
